Merry Christmas!!!!
What a fast holiday season it has been! Between all the shopping and getting all the presents wrapped I couldn't wait to stay home and enjoy the season. The snow came falling by the inches and pilled up in no time. But all of my children traveld safe and sound and what fun it was to see my grandchildren open presents and play. Little Tessa is changing so much everyday and is still precious as ever. MaKenna love to dance to music everytime she hears it and loves to give dolls hugs and walk all over the house with them.
My missionaries also called. Jill is doing wonderful and is loving her mission. She is working hard and doing well with the spanish language. John called us the day after Christmas because they had the phone booths closed so he called the next morning. He is also doing well with the language and loves the work. They both are excited about the progress that has happened in our family with grandbabies and all. The day was filled with all kinds of surprises and good memories. Having by grandchildren and talking to my missionaries are all I need this Christmas season. The spirit and the love that comes from the true meaning of Christmas is such a blessing to have. I am grateful for the knowledge I have of my Savoir and the plan that Heavenly Father has for us. I know that the gospel is real and true. How grateful I am for the strength it give me. I love seeing my family live in true happiness and joy. Happy Holidays to all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

What wonderful days lie ahead. Thanksgiving was full of fun and family! The Stokes' came with my busy little grandchild MaKenna who is now 1 year old! She traveled all over the church. It was a joy to have so much family together to catch up on good old times. After dinner we went to the field and had the "turkey shoot". It's something we do every year. All the uncles and cousins love to come together and challenge each other to a shoot contest. As long as you hit you clay piggens you stay in the game. Spud won for the boys this year and Christa won for the girls! Fun times were had by all! Also our other sweet grandbaby Tessa came to visit. Oh what a precious little child! She is so beautiful and growing by leaps and bounds everyday. My joy was overflowing to be able to see by boy David with his wife and sweet Tessa.

Happy Halloween!

My two grandbabies had their first Halloween this year and oh, how fun it is to see them dressed up! Being a grandma is so rewarding and I'm so blessed to have such good grandkids! Miss MaKenna was snowwhite and spent most of her engery that night with her new adventure, walking. She sure keeps us busy. And our miss Tessa is so precious. She was a pumpkin and she is what her parents say, "our little pumpkin". The holidays are even more exciting with these beautiful little girls and I love spoiling them!

Grandbaby is here!!

Little Tess Thomas was born October 15 at 3:15. She is 6lbs 3 ounces and 18 1/2 inches long. We are so excited and grateful for a healthy mom and baby! We are so glad that they are close too. David recieved a job offer a while back in California and they just moved out there not even two weeks ago and then the baby came so the timing was just close enough for them. We know that David and Lindsy will be good parents and take such good care of Tessa. We can't wait to see them and hold that precious little baby girl! We love you guys!

Our Silly Missionary

Here are some pictures Jill sent this week. These missionaries sure do have a crazy side to them (ha ha). She is doing good and loving the work. They've had some fun times with the humitity and the rain but they love the people.
